Blockchain Conference Tallinn 9th March 2017

Dear friends,

Recently we have been at the Bitcoin Conference in Tallinn and want to share with you how it was. This was one-day conference on 9th May 2017. Surprisingly for such a small town (Tallinn has only 400 000 citizens) over 250 people from 20 countries decided to join.

In general, the conference was focused on Estonian and foreign projects implementing Blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Experts shared their experience of implementing Blockchain in governmental institutions, banking system, trading, media, healthcare, and other spheres. It was interesting to learn about new innovative IT products.

Presentations were given by Emercoin, Distributed Lab, Bitcoin Foundation, e-Residency, WageCan, Innovations and Development Foundation, IBM, Openledger, HashCoins, Funderbeam, LHV, National Blockchain Association, BitcoinChaser, Cryptopay, cyberFund, Waves platform, and Tallinn University of Technology.

Despite the bitcoin popularization the society does not clearly understand it's meaning. The concept of digital money still faces rejection. In his speech, Mark presented his vision of solving the bitcoin perception issue.

Eric is in the crypto space since 2012 and has been involved in a several blockchain businesses. In his speech, he was talking about bitcoin implementation in a daily life of ordinary citizens.
